Track day viginity gone

Well finally broke my track day viginity (of sorts). Thanks to my work drove round the Rockingham track with a selection of cars. Alls I can say is that basically im cack and I need loads of instruction, but then I do want to do it again ............ so remember........................ Spooks coming to a track near you LOL

I had the pleasure of a full day at Bedford Aerodrome last year on a Jonathan Palmer day courtesy of my employers. Absolutely fantastic. I managed an Evo, VX220, Caterham, Clio Cup, Formula Palmer Audi single seater and a 2 seat Jag (Spun off the latter at 100mph plus).

I'd imagine a whole load of difference if you are in your own car without an instructor pushing you to the limit - full on.

Didn't get a slot at Knockhill on 5th March but looking forwrd to spectating all the same.

Precisely the reason I try to stay away from the track days now, highly additive , used to really enjoy the track days in the old 309 just too scared to put the scoob on

Wasnt too exciting array of cars, a4 , 330, merc C and jag. Still sure was fun though Highlight was taken round by someone who can drive in the new M5................... Still grin just thinking about it.

To say Im cack would be a massive understatement though that was prolly the reason it slipped my mind on the phone Dave LOL
