allan_thorne Posted February 13, 2005 Author Posted February 13, 2005 Thanks for the welcome guys. Was wondering is it best to go through the dealers for accessories like stut brace etc or is there better places to go all this Scooby stuff is new to us no idea wheres best to go and who offers the best stuff etc. more used to MINI sites and upgrades thats the wifes car mind you with the 275 bhp conversion on the MINI she may be able to keep up with me now instead of passing me all the time
jamie_wood Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Wallace performance is in Aberdeen. They are good Apart from that..........its mail order I guess. Plenty to choose from though
SEEVERS Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Welcome Allan, hope all goes well with purchase. You are now the latest addition to this mad world of never having any money(as it's all in your scoob)but hey it's better than the real world.
p1ggm Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 for strut braces and stuff like that try ebay, cant beat em really, for other stuff just shop around on the net...dealer stuff is very expensive
Gee Wr1 Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hi Allan Will keep a look out for you on the roads i'm local to you Think you might find the scoob a bit more fun than the Hilux Lol Gee
Power Junkie Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hi Allan! Have you had a look at Glenburgie They are in Forres so not far from you. They do all the basic things you woud need.
halo Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Hello mate - ill keep an eye out for you in Inverness, im sure youll spot me lurking in the skyline sometime If you wander out to Glenburgie - who have really really nice new premises, say hello to my car (undergoing surgery) for me
Scott P Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Hi & welcome to the forum mate! Hope you enjoy the new motor when you get it!
allan_thorne Posted February 16, 2005 Author Posted February 16, 2005 thanks for the welcome. I like the link think I'll be paying them a visit. Going into the garage tomorrow to pay my deposit but the salesman at Inveness says better of with the blue colour as this will retain it's value better. Is he correct. Now we cannot make our minds up which colour. Wife likes the blue colour and I've got a funny feeling that's what we will end up with
fraser_drinkwater Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 its easy to get blue as they are every where, why is there a higher premium on them ? be different thats what makes a car special and sought after, or you would be better of with a focus or astra lol just my hummble but worthless opinion. ps dont get pink though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL LMFAO
allan_thorne Posted February 17, 2005 Author Posted February 17, 2005 Placed the order today hopefully we will have it for the 1st of March spec is 2005 WRX blue Quick Shift Prodrive (after 1000 miles) Strut Brace Stainless entry guards also gargo area Lower mesh grille. Thinking about BBS Alloys. Anyone know the best place to get a additional arm rest to make it higher.
halo Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Im sure that 1,000 miles will go quick I managed to cover 2,000 miles in one month in the skyline - god knows how, proably why its in for surgery now Least not long to wait I waited five months - look forward to seeing u about
