Carl Davey Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 But it didn't last much longer did it...? Saturday evening before i last went offshore Mr Policeman requests i fit legal plates. He wasn't too arsey about it (it must've been the blizzard) and no fine/producer either so not too bitter. Looks shlte though doesn't it? Ach well, time to grow up i suppose.
iroc-si Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Scotrad, in Edinburgh is supposed to be the place up here to go for these smaller specialised plates. Not got my one made up yet, so don't know how good they are. http://www.scotrad.co.uk/ Si.
sarahbee Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 << I got a lovely £30 fine for my plate 2 weeks ago because it was to small, it was 70mm instead of 76mm which is the limit. When asked who they noticed they told me the cctv 30ft in air spotted it when i was travelling at 50mph. The irony. Matt >> Ours is just sitting under 70mm ..................
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 For info - mine were made up as 410 mm x 112mm I cracked my front plate last week working on the engine bay and needed a new one so though i would resurrect this thread I ended up using Fancyplates last time but they took ages to arrive ? Can anyone else advice of any other companies who do this ? CGS

dieselpower Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Cal. Your plate only has to 101mm high. The font must be 79mm high with an 11mm border all round (79+22). The plate I had on the front of the Zed was 101mm []
