Foz01 Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Hi folks Thought i would drop in to ask a few questions and seeing the tumbleweed going the htrough SN scotland section I see most of the regulars are now here, some of which i know from the SIDC days- talking of which are this years KH dates sorted yet? have a new trackcar, another honda although lighter and more powerfull now Anyway, to the meat of the post i need a more capable/fun tow car Have considered, lol an M5 and E55 recently.. but spotted this Clicky link I gather it's puff the magic wagons old car- spoken to the owner and its had a new engine etc. Its suitabel for trackdays although i doubt I would- maybe the once to give dougster a run for his money It has all the right bits and is a fairly good price, what do you lot reckon to it, worth a punt? I see Cal just got a scoob too, hello mate, maybe see you at KH this yr if you plan on taking to the track? cheers folks Foz
wrxmania Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Looks a nice car but no doubt has had a fair bit of track action. It is MUCH busier in here than on Sc**bynet. The front 3 pages of Scoobynet Scotland are 3 and a half months old - the front three in here are two weeks old. Still seem to be a few folk posting on Scoobynet who are a bit bitter. None of that in here at all. Welcome, Brian
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 hey Foz We need piccies of the new track weapon ............a Scoob for a tow car would be a nice comprimise and with it being a wagon it would make sense as a support vehicle @ KH. have you fitted the throttle bodies then ??? Cheers 4 now cal
Foz01 Posted January 21, 2005 Author Posted January 21, 2005 Aye, 245 bhp at 9000 rpm weighing in at under 975kg's and has 330mm AP 4pots Koni shockers and lots of other bits and pieces, should give the scoobs a fright Still got some stuff to finish on the car- including a new year subframe- dont ask but I will try my damdest to make it to the first trackday on the 5th! As for the scoob wagon, hmmm maybe a bit old- been looking on here and SN classifeds, cant believe what you can get for the money these days... Nice and sensible 4wd tow car, mpg might sting a bit heh heh

zeolite Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Oh come on Lowell! You can't be going around in a scabby 99 wagon like me. Think of your image man!
