cdowling_bm Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Guys, Today was the dreaded MOT day and my '97 GTB failed on a few things. The main one is too much movement in the steering rack and the general concensus is it's due to worn bushes. Anybody know where I can get replacement ones at a reasonable price? I'd go directly to a Subaru parts dealer but I'm not sure if they will be the same as the UK Imprezas or non-turbo Legacy and I'm sure I'll pay through the nose. Any suggestions (and part numbers)? Chazz.
the squiggle Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 Uk turbo will be the same AFAIK they have the same rack You would be better going for aftermarket bushes, canny remember the name of them but its the Yellow ones Grant Useless post i know but im loaded with the cold

cdowling_bm Posted December 15, 2004 Author Posted December 15, 2004 Thanks for your help. I've emailed the guys from Power Vehicles and am trying to find part numbers for the Polyflex and Whiteline bushes. Hopefully, she'll be legal again Soon. Charles.
