brian_donaldson Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Hi I have just bought a Subaru and I was hoping somebody could recommend a specilaisy in the Edinburgh area for genearl servicing. Cheers
ormiboy Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 www.powervehicles.co.uk check them out mate not had stuff done with them myself but not heard a bad thing about them yet. im sure one of the guys frequents here so you might catch them on here soon. take it easy.
ormiboy Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 oops not to forget AWD in perth, good lot too so you have a choice. www.awdmotorsport.co.uk
p3dro Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 AWD are excellent, worth the drive. I don't know of any in Edinburgh but reading Scooby magazine and Andy Forrest is "currently considering setting up a business to accomodate the subaru community by the end of the year" and he is based in Cockenzie which would be very handy indeed cos he seems to know his stuff.
MY94 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 http://www.awdmotorsport.co.uk/ I live in Edinburgh and always travel to AWD in Perth.........well worth the trip. Going up there Tuesday to get some cooling issues sorted.
p3dro Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I try not to go to AWD, you always come back "just getting a couple of bits" ask Dad he can't help himself Think it was a grand last time he visited LOL. Great service
ormiboy Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 due a wee visit to AWD soon myself, got a very slight leak from my power steering tank. bloke at AWD, (grant i think ?) rekons he can get a recon kit so i think i might fire up at the end of the month. Interesting to hear about andy forest, heard good things about him, is he the same chap who gets called "treetops"? im just up the road from cockenzie, (ormiston) would be nice to have a someone so close to home .
the squiggle Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 The owner of East Linton Services, Chris is a top man and knows his stuff with the flat 4 Grant
