Cret Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Cheers for your email Richard & sorry for late response. Afraid it's not looking like I'm going to be able to get to any of it on account of numerous weddings, birthdays, family dos, and to add insult to injury the fact that I too am now (sort of) scoobyless! To cut a long story short I snapped my only key in the door on saturday, and so I ended up having to sabotage a few minor bits pieces and basically steal my own car!! So at the moment I can't use it because it currently can't be locked and starts up with a screwdriver!! Not ideal.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Bugger mate Next time ring me and ill tell you how to break in alot quicker and utilising your current ignition. Think turbo timer
Cret Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Already did that matey. It took me less than a minute to start the engine using two small pieces of wire but the steering lock was the problem. Couldn't find a way to disegage it without extracting the ignition barrel.
heazille Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 PLEASE NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Karting is now starting at 1pm due to numbers increasing so aim to be at Jurby for 12:30 to allow for briefing etc etc Ta Ta Richard

dooahhdoo Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Jon, Bet you are m8. Sorry, wasn't trying to rub it in or anything
enCrypt Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 What no dodgy pics of Sunday night yet Nick?! Was good to see Dave 'tarting it up' on the dancefloor too! V-Funny! Well, myself and Rachael are just finishing off the packing for going away to the Neste Rally Finland (extremely early!) tomorrow morning, so thought I'd grab a spare moment and come on and rub it in a bit! We're also doing the SWRT Tour on the Sunday as kindly arranged for us by Kristy Thompson from Subaru, so I'll be sure to give you all a report on what it was like when we get back... May be able to get on the 'net over there if I can find a friendly (read free!) wireless access point around somewhere for the laptop! If not see you all back here on the 9th. Look out for us on the telly! Mark...
dooahhdoo Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Jammy buggers LOL. Hopefully the pics will be up later tonight
enCrypt Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Oh yeah, better late than never! The Rally trip and the SWRT tour was fantastic!!! Trying to get the creative juices flowing over the last couple of days to do a write-up for True Grip, so look out for a full report in there, hopefully next month if I can get sorted in time...
