Hi All, I've just rejoined the SIDC after many years of inactivity. My McRae has also been inactive for years and now it's time to change all that.

I plan to start the "bog standard" restoration with a new front end wiring loom but am struggling to find a supplier - any clues?

You will have to find a wiring harness specialist as all loom sections are now out of production - no longer available from Subaru.

When you say a "new front end loom" what do you actually mean as there are three main sections of loom in the engine bay

1. Front end loom
2. Engine loom
3. Bulkhead loom in engine bay

Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm firstly trying to remove the Cobra immobiliser / alarm system - it's "disabled" itself and cut the fuel pump and ignition and probably much else!
