B8RCR Posted December 20, 2019 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Hello can you help, iam running and restoring a Subaru legacy 2.5 gx awd auto 2001.I am using OE parts, a lot of which come in boxes from when you were a main dealer. I am trying to replace the fuel filter which i be-leave is under the back seat but i cant find it . Richard dealer replied can,t help anybody help Richard Link to comment
The Don Posted December 20, 2019 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Yep the fuel filter is situated inside the fuel tank alongside the fuel pump (moved in 2001 from engine bay to fuel tank) Access via removing the backseat base.
