MARIO86
Ok so finally weather has cleared for a bit and that meant me treating scooby to some tlc. She got 4 brand new tyres and tracking done. Then another bottle of redex fuel system cleaner + full tank obviously Also i had 5L of Motul Motylgear gearbox and differential oil from Opie oils sitting in the boot so got that changed and been pretty shocked to find that it hasnt been done in 10 years!!! how can people drive like that? Also found that on diff the filler plug was rusted in so had to soak it in wd40 and broke one ratchet on it if i recall correctly gearbox was supposed to hold 3.5L of oil and diff about 800ml, well i got 2.5L out of gearbox and 600ml from diff . new oil made sooo much difference. its a lot smoother and quieter now. After all was done she got washed, waxed, put rear mudflaps on, cleaned engine bay and polished Here some pics for you Link to comment
davey l wrx
Nice, mine needs a damn good clean but it's MOT and new power steering pump first? Then it'll get a good going over with the machine polisher and Workstat acrylic Link to comment
mr_hollowpoint
Need to do some of this myself to my new wagon. Diff oils, gearbox oil, engine oil, air filter replacement, all on the cards for the next couple of weeks. Already changed out the plugs for Iridiums the day after I bought the car lol. thebigfelly
Nice job. Cars looking well cleaned. Wish we had some of that sunny weagher here in dreary scotland so i couldnt give mines a gd seeing to.. and the car aswel lol. Shocker of no oil change in all those years. Looks more like paste than oil. Bet youl notice a difference now though Link to comment
johnmacdonald
Well done Mario!! Must give the WRX a good polish when it stops raining. First time it hasn't had its full yearly tlc, but I must admit that very regular hand wash with Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash plus annual Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection keeps it looking near new. It did have the full Autoglym Lifeshine treatment back in 2007 and its never been near a car wash or pressure washer... Link to comment

MARIO86
Best of luck Mario with the spark plugs and cambelt!! Thanks mate i will do spark plugs myself but will take it to mates garage for cambelt. This is non turbo scoob so spark plugs are not that bad to access, i checked and it seems that i only need to whip battery out plus air induction plus water bottle i hope Link to comment

Good sense to let somebody else do the cambelt! Link to comment
