scoobywho
Anyone got any tricks for leather cleaning and revitalisation , my seats in my hawk have "dry" patches where the kids seats are and I would like to get it all looking perfect Link to comment
DR Motosport
I use meguiars leather conditioner every so ofter on the Mercedes, and also use their wipes for quick wipe overs. Link to comment
davey l wrx
Auto-Glym Leather Care is good stuff as well. I always used to put something under the kids seats to protect the car seats nothing worse than some quavers or wotsit's being ground into the upholstery by a kids seat! Link to comment
scoobywho
Thats the plan after I get the shape back in the seats davey, found all sorts of weird foods under them lol Link to comment
mugs
I use Autoglym leather cleaner and a soft nail brush to clean then Autoglym conditioner applied in a heavy coat, leave overnight then buff off the next day. I have used this stuff on my wife's old Mercedes, her current coupe and our BMW Z3, all with good results. Link to comment

scoobywho
Ive been using them on it lol seems to ha e sprung back lightly but need to get some sort of care cream onto it, planning on keeping my hawk for the foreseeable future, (so I can sneakily buy another classic) Link to comment
corsa
After yesterdays detailing day DO NOT use baby wipes as they clog up the pores in the leather, hoover, clean with a detail spray then apply a butter creme, results are unbelievable and also cares and protects your leather. If in doubt drop the chemical guys in Cambuslang an email or go visit them. D Link to comment

mugs
also, if you have sagging you can heat the leather with a hairdryer and it will shrink back to original. there are lots of videos on YouTube showing how to do it properly. Link to comment
