Mad Scoobies - Boyndie Pt 1.5

Ok guys as this isn't an 'event' yet I thought I'd stick a thread in here to see if anyone was interested in this.

The Aberdeen & District Motor Club - who I organised the Boyndie attendance through have a post up at the minute that goes like this -

Grampian Kart Club, Boyndie, by Banff

The Kart Club are holding their Open Day on Sunday 18th August 2013 and due to the tremendous support they provide us with at the Sprints, ADMC are looking for cars (with two seats) to provide a static display and passenger runs. Doors open at 1000hrs.

Please get in touch if you can help us out.

I've dropped them a line to see if they would welcome us along again and there's the chance of some track action which is why I did it.

So if anyone fancies the chance to have a blat around the track at Boyndie on the 18th stick your names below and if it becomes an event i'll move it to the other place when the time comes.

yeah I've still got all the flags and stuff, finally got them out of the car on Wednesday night!

Hopefully ADMC say come along and we can have a laugh on the track..... if not it'll be a laugh anyway and it'll reinforce our ties with them and hopefully the Kart club.

Another fun time at Boyndie in the sun.

Grampian Kart Club open day with loads of action. Loads of Karts from the kids starter machines up the mad racers with gears. Bikes and some cars from the ADAC including a rally spec Scooby with gravel tyres which gave some nice sideways action for fun - "well, we are he to put on a show" was all we needed to hear.

Hopefully next time we'll get to unleash our cars on the track. Might have to organise a karting day there.... With some car action for afters

Good to see BrumJ again and ScottishTaffy when he finally got the car bolted back together!. Hopefully it'll all be sorted before Grantown next month

it will be. scott with the mk 1 escort is a impreza fan and mechanic and told me to check the wastegate as it might be sticking as been off the road for a wee while so hopefully will cure the overboost. heres a wee vid of the the scooby

also we were given a wee gift for attending and bringing some extra support for the msa.

spoke to the lass about arranging a sidc time trail there. like the sprint day but for sidc. she likes the idea so said someone would be in touch.

it was a great day and we had a chance of three laps of the track but needed a crash helmet plus as mine was just back on the road ive devloped a overboost problem now

Had another good day at boyndie, deffo looking forward to the next time we are there. Hopefully we can get some track time with our cars or the karts they look fun.

need to get your self controler loon like i have that sorted out my over boost and the help ov the vf helped to all speek to ma pall he has 2 td 05s in his shed if thay r the same

i have a td05 in mine already but i think the vfs are front entry only so can fit it to mine as mine ir a top entry. definitly need a apexi tho then that will finish what im wanting from it tho thinking of selling my 440 and getting some 550 injectors instead
