Private Messages

Has anyone else experienced lately that the usual email notification that comes when a private message is sent have ceased? Or is this just me?

I have not touched any settings or changed anything. Also no Microsoft spam issues either.

You using hotmail? You getting emails for threads you have subscribed to? I had similar issue then changed to gmail and it was sorted.

I have noticed some content in my pm's has vanished. Maybe there is a glitch in the system somewhere. Does anyone know if the pm's are archived anywhere like a backup etc? There was a phone number I was looking for.

PM's are not archived anywhere on the system.

Once they're deleted from your inbox they are gone. Although if the other party still has the pm conversation then you can obtain the info from them.

Hotmail/Outlook have changed their settings recently so emails from both the forum and membership database have been directed to the junk folders.

Thanks for the info Kim.

Will try contacting them again to get the number. Hopefully they still use the site.

Thanks for the speedy reply

I would suggest they are not sent, but its not the case.
