lewisscoob
All the info you need should be here Paul. She needs to fill out a V317 and it costs £80. Then she'll need to fill out a V62 for the new V5C. https://www.gov.uk/personalised-vehicle-registration-numbers/transferring-a-registration-number Link to comment

thebigfelly
ok might be missing a bit in my quick read of that , understanding about keeping her private plate and transfering that over, but what about getting a new registration for the micra so her old man can drive it to a show room for trade in? or will that have something to do with the registration that originaly came with her car before she changed to private one? g1983
You say Bab's micra. But the reg is B16 FEL. ? Link to comment
mctwistuk
you should get the original reg for the micra back. The DVLA will keep you right on that. That is what happened on the 2 cars i had my plate on. They just got their old reg back. Chris Link to comment
