Scottish Glasgow/lanark/edinburgh And Central Regional Monthly Meets

one of the things suggested at today's combined regional meet was to combine the normal monthly meets for Glasgow/Lanark/Edinburgh and change the venue each month. That way we should get more attendance at them and can get to interact with more people face to face.

Each region can still of course hold its own mini meets if they have something in specific they want to do like a tunnel run or a blast up to the carbeth inn or to arrochar etc(forgive just the glasgow knowledge there).

So what does everyone think?

It was suggested we could post up 2 dates say one mid week and one a weekend day and people could choose what to attend. So what do we all think?

think good idea and agree with it, could say maybe near the end of the 2nd week of week of every month or the last week of every month and say maybe a thursday evening or sat/sun evening and that way what ever is voted for most popular then thats the one that gets picked, and then just rotate it round each area.

Chris, I've added "central" into this too as it would make sense to have a Central Belt area including this too IMO.

Chris I think we should have local meets like glasgow and have an organiser who plans a month in advance instead of creating a diary that way people dont double book it and end up missing, personally I work monday tuesday thursday saturday so a wednesday is perfect

We can still keep the Glasgow meets going as long as there is interest.

I was going to post up the may thread and was aiming for first Wednesday of the month.
