Knockhill Photos From Today

Hi Lads

Long time since i have been on posting seeing as i sold the scoob 4 years ago now.

Yesterday was the first time we had been up to knockhill to spectate in a track day for over a year now due to family and other things on going, i must admit that it was a very poor show from the subaru comunity for cars on track, like others have said i was used to going to thease days and the majourity of cars were scoobs, 4 on track and another half dozen or so in the car park, ieven commented to the missus that we hadnt seen a scoob in the full run up from ayrshire which is astonishing.

On the up side the day was dry and blue sky's which always make knockhill a better day out and our 2 kids loved the day.

i was also trying to get down to say hi to John stewart but nopt aloud to the pit lane due to the age of the kids which is a big turn around for the good old days.

That blue Skyline track car didn't half back fire going up the pit straight from the hairpin didn't it lads?

Good to be back up there but have a funny feeling that it could have been our last one.

Blue skyline was driven by fee who used to frequent in here. It is trackscotland am sure they go under.

Don't give up on these. Hopefully I will be track ready for June and can add another scoob to the track line up

Lewisscoob

Seeing as I have been doing scoob track days since 2001 I think I am entiteld to my own opinion .

And seeing as I don't have a scoob an still attend I think I show my love affair with the scoob, maybe there was a better group of folk about then

Wasn't a direct dig at you. Just a general observation of a lot of people willing to whinge about the current state of the club and events instead of contributing positively to build it back up again.

Got to remember that the good old days seem to be gone now, not happy about it but us hardcore track day-ers still continue to go ( that was actually my 29th track day at Knockhill and my 74th track day in total) but I feel that a lot of the casual goers were not interested in this one due to the time of the year.... And the fact that there was still snow on and around the track on Thursday night.

I know I had fun as did Ali, can't wait for the next one!
