Tuner Wheel Nuts

Can anyone advise me on what to look for in a set of tuner wheel nuts (no wise cracks please).

Just replacing tarnished standard nuts so no stud length changes etc but do I go for steel or alloy and any other pointers or recommended suppliers. Looking for black so needs to be a durable colour finish.

I run black chrome McGard tuner splined lug nuts and locking nuts.

Previous chrome one's I've had have been replaced free of charge (by McGard Germany) when the chrome has started to break down (lifetime guarantee)
