marko72 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I have recd a quote for my next service form a well known centrally located specialist who i have used for a few years. Mileage is 103,000 miles so quote is for 100,000 miles service. They say its a small service plus the cambelt. I have chkd my service manual and it states cambelt to be done every 60,000 miles, so its not due until 120,000 miles. Looking for any clarification/opinions. Cheers.
scoobywho Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I would do it anyway save a fortune in the long run
jamesm Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I am sure the newage is every 5 years or 50k whichever is soonest. I am also due a 10 year/100k service and was planning on changing the cambelt. I did the last one at its 5 year service although I have only done about 25k miles since then. What price did you get quoted? I assume it is not cheap! PM me if you like.

marko72 Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) Cheer fellas. I have had a double check. Owners manual def says 60,000 and so on, but service and warranties booklet says every 50,000. Will get it done. She was last serviced at 96,000 last year. Im curious, will I notice a difference after its changed? Running more efficently or anything? Edited October 10, 2012 by marko72
