South West BBQ and social

  1. 1. Do owners in the South West (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire) feel that they would like to have a BBQ and a social gathering later this summer?

Just asked a friend who is getting back to me tomorrow if we can use her field near Wellington, Somerset. We can also pitch tents and have a few drinks. I also know a party organiser who's getting back to me with prices for a hog roast.

I'm doing this hypothetically at the moment just throwing it out there. What do you guys think? Is it too far for the south Devon/Cornwall lot?

Probably too far for Cornwall, but if they are not coming then not too bad mate. Will need portaloos too? Do not want this to be expensive.

Don't want a hole mate , health n safety (some pleb would fall in ) what you want is a heap , a big steaming pile of shat that you carefully have to negotiate over and turn one out ...

Just a thought

I'm reminded of a song about an English Country Garden, where you pick up some grass and wipe yer dirty....... :D Anyway, a summer bbq sounds like a cracking idea, I'd lurve to come along from Cully

I know a campsite nr Porlock that has a cheap cheerful shower block with loos. Male and female. Can also have camp fires and BBQ there. Obviously we can camp and I could talk to the owner who I know about having the site to ourselves if there's enough of us. No one around to upset either.
