davey l wrx Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Nice, can't knock the Litchfield gear..... Ian know's his stuff. The milltek will sound great when you get up above 5,000 rpm it screams like a banshee.
Biohzrd Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 very nice m8, are you coming to the Dundee meet tomorrow night ?? Didn't know anything about it mate what time is it at ? going out for my last meal before i head back out so if its later on ill try show a face Thanks for the replys and as said Ian does know his stuff and is a very nice guy to sit and chat with
davey l wrx Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Never got the chance to sit down with him but i have chatted to him on the phone a few times. Can't complain with the cars he sells it has to be said!
davey l wrx Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Works for me, your's isn't bad either. All mine needs is the adjustable coilovers for it to be type 25 spec (oh and the porche brakes - but the performance friction kit works for me). I've sorted the whiteline goodies out including adjustable top mounts. When the dreaded damper knock starts i'll think about some AST coilovers till then it's fine as it is.
05WRX Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Think i saw you in Broughty Ferry earlier on this afternoon. I was in the blue blob parked up outside boots.
rig-pig Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 the meet is at 7pm at the gourdie croft beefeater usualy there till about 9.30-10.00 just have to keep and eye out in the Scottish events section for the next one when your home m8 we have one once a month
Biohzrd Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 Well I know litchfields have moved away from the AST's to the Blistien PS10's due to parts issues when anything went wrong on them. Yeah I did see you parked up in the ferry your car looked good. I seen te meets at 7 I'll try get there but i dunno if I'll make it.
scooby222 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 very very nice mate! braking will be awesome and would love to know how the suspension feels, bilstein or ohlins will eventually replace my BC coilovers once ive saved enough!
monsterenergy Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) Very Very Nice :-) I'm ditherin over those Prodrive GT1 alloys at this very second :-) p.s I love the hatch threads - anywhere that shows me new manufacturers of STUFF cannae be bad :-) Edited May 17, 2012 by monsterenergy
Biohzrd Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 Cheers guys, I do like the Prodrives but i will be replacing them with Works Emotion CR Kai's when i get back next time round and keeping the GT1's for winter wheels. I do highly recommend the Alcon 6 pots if your willing to part with a kidney !
monsterenergy Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 What's your reasons for swapping wheels away from the GT1's? I've been looking at the 18" GT1's v's 19" GT2's - and prefer the GT1's... but is there a problem I should know about?
Biohzrd Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 I like to be slightly different from everyone else there's nothing wrong with the GT1's I just love the look of the CR KAI's I just hope they clear the 6 pots !!
