BalliSTIc Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I think the weekend should prove beyond all doubt that the barge 'hatch' is awful in the suspension department!Yours rolling about as if on the North Sea in a force 10 gale and Del bouncing up from Applecross like tigger after a tube of blue smarties Like this?

monsterenergy Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I got Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's for the missus Maserati a couple of months ago. Haven't driven it too hard with them but seem good. However, a major plus point I noticed which will sway me to them for the Soob... the rubber protrudes beyond the lip of the alloy - so I'm pretty sure it will be really difficult to "curb" an alloy with them installed! I never knew this feature when I bought them - but with the state of my alloys and my superb knack a clipping curbs and pot holes - this seems like a no brainer to me in future if I want to keep my alloys looking good.
BalliSTIc Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 And you wonder why i back off on the fast flowing curves 'Cos ye don't want tae embarrass him with our superior handling...? No, he's right... stock GR springs suck! On the subject of kerbing... rainsports have a nice wee lip as well... saves the metal a bit!
StrikE Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 'Cos ye don't want tae embarrass him with our superior handling...? Once its sorted it will be superior...... greatly superior
BalliSTIc Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 As a learned colleague of mine once said: "Oh dear... here comes the credit card..."
badbaz Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Once its sorted it will be superior...... greatly superior Do you remember what was all over 'that' field Del? I smell it again Davie, I have 235s and 245s on mine and they are 18s so that's making your price look so much better than mine, still a good price though I reckon.

johnmacdonald Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Soon to buy third set of P Zero Nero's for the WRX 2.5 PPP. Just can't fault them - never lost grip wet or dry. Last month fitted four new Falken 452's to the Accord 2.4i vtec and so far very pleased. Quiet running and good grip (but it's only 200 bhp!). Had thought of trying them on the WRX, but decided to stick with a tyre that has never caused a panic...
lewisscoob Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Once its sorted it will be superior...... greatly superior Thought the hatch was up for sale or have you changed your mind?
StrikE Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Thought the hatch was up for sale or have you changed your mind? It was and if someone want to buy it then it still could be!
lewisscoob Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Oh well, good luck then... Back on topic, I have pilot sport 2's on the RA and they were great all weekend. Apart from a lock up when meeting the passat on the way up the Bealach.
