jimmer Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 i'm in the process of getting a pro r panel filter and considering in a walboro fuel pump i shouldn't need a remap would i, any thoughts. [/quote wouldnt have a clue,im in the wrong trade for that! looking at upgrading brake hoses, having a decat exhaust made and air induction kit in the next month or so! then its going for a remap!
spect Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 Careful on the full decat with the new mot test mate
neil wrx Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 terry would know. problem i have is i had a standard wrx then got the prodrive pack installed by subaru at ashburtons it got remapped then. if i start adding things will they remap it?
jimmer Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 cheers terry! i have been having a word with a friend who has a mot testing centre,he's looking into it to make sure i have no problems, will get back by the weekend to see if its possible with out to much hassle!
beefoss Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Is there a decent site for Subaru breakers in the South West..? I want to get my hands on some new shape STI calipers and discs... Scoobybits in Truro. Never used them but website looks good. Here's a link don't press this link
j wrx tonkins Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) is it me or is everyone seem to be getting new brakes, discs, calipers and so on.... im in again tomorrow for new front calipers and pads must be that time of year Edited March 16, 2012 by j wrx tonkins
spect Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 The Hawk only has 2 cats and I removed the one in the downpipe and it passed the MOT emissions test fine last year. The other cat removal would help performance but would be obvious to an MOT tester as missing.
spect Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 Mine has just worn out its first set of front discs after 47k miles J. So time to do an upgrade. This means that the original front calipers will be up for grabs too if anyone needs to upgrade their classic!
jimmer Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Thanks terry! He's come back & said the exact same thing,so thank you!
spect Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 No probs mate. Nothing to stop you from swapping the bits around before the MOT, just a hassle.
the bungster Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 He just copying Keith , silver and loud . Lol
