2005 Import or UK?

Hello All, I'm looking to replace my Classic with a 2005 wagon.

I have seen one I fancy which was originally sold/registered by a UK Subaru franchaise, but the

VIN/chassis no. starts with 'JF1GG' which makes it a Jap model, so I am confused.

Do any of you know if all UK models have a Jap VIN?

Jap model vin .Just looked at mine for 05 starts with GDB- and six digits

My uk 05 blob, starts JF1 then it's GDA

So is mine a jap wrx ???

Well this one has 17 characters in the VIN, but with a Jap prefix, so is it UK?

Is there anywhere that can catagorically say one way or the other?

Have emailed the original supplier, but have not been answered.

Give me your reg and I'll put it through the MID database, see what they have it set as

Yes, it's on a dealers forecourt so makes sense it is uninsured.

Perhaps I should ring the supplying dealership? -just don't want to lose it on a minor technicality,

as it looks immaculate.

It's a uk car pal, imports show up as ADM OR JDM on the model description, yours like mine states impreza wrx turbo
