  1. Yes have heard similar tales before. I replaced all of the small bore solenoid vacuum pipes on mine and had nothing but niggly problems, so put back the OEM pipes and all became good again. So,basically, would recommend keeping the originals everytime. Although, I've had the intercooler y pipe in silicone for some years, with no problems.
  2. Yes, it's on a dealers forecourt so makes sense it is uninsured. Perhaps I should ring the supplying dealership? -just don't want to lose it on a minor technicality, as it looks immaculate.
  3. Hi Dipsy, it's a wagon. Hi Scooby Dooney Doo, the reg is: YR05 PPO Incidentally, what is the MID database? Thanks Steve
  4. Well this one has 17 characters in the VIN, but with a Jap prefix, so is it UK? Is there anywhere that can catagorically say one way or the other? Have emailed the original supplier, but have not been answered. Thanks Steve
  5. Appreciate that Dipsy, thanks for looking, Steve
  6. Hello All, I'm looking to replace my Classic with a 2005 wagon. I have seen one I fancy which was originally sold/registered by a UK Subaru franchaise, but the VIN/chassis no. starts with 'JF1GG' which makes it a Jap model, so I am confused. Do any of you know if all UK models have a Jap VIN? Thanks again for your help in advance. Steve

Hi All, don't know if this is the right forum for this (sorry if its not) but need to know how much a rear diff weighs (and its measurements if possible) Have just bought one online and need to get it shipped but the courier needs all of these figures and measurements. The seller is not being too helpful! Many thanks Steve

  17. Hi, does anybody know of anywhere reachable from Bromley that does the 4 wheel tracking and camber setup? Is it worth doing and about how much is it? Also, have just fitted 225 45 17s to my UK turbo wagon MY99, are tyre pressures the same/similar to the 16s? or should I just experiment with different pressures? Thanks a lot Steve

  21. Got a Road Angel Classic and would like to put mine somewhere other than the dash, but it doesn't work by the cigar lighter, it has to 'see' 3 satellites, either directly through glass or thin plastic. It does work in the dash top box though, but you have to have it open a little to see the display. Perhaps get another top box lid and try and fit the RA in that somehow. Can also be hard wired in, so you dont have yards of wire trailing about. Steve
  22. Hi All, As above (and emissions friendly MOT station!!??) Cheers
