Idea for a run / day trip

I was thinking of visiting this next year.

We could maybe arrange a run before / after and something to eat somewhere ( if i havent turned green after the boat trip )

Has anyone been on this trip, what did they think of it and was it any good?

havent done it but id definitely be up for it - was an article in scottish field the other month all about the trips to corryvreckan and it looks awesome!

nice run down to oban via tyndrum too, spot of lunch then back via inverary

Oh yes... some lovely roads down that neck of the woods too! Know of a nice wee hotel down Campbeltown way with a good run down. Best as a weekend trip all in though.
