engine reuild

hi folks seems all i do is come on here for advice and help, but as i always get quality responses, here i go for more help..

a friend of mine owns a lightweight ra classic, and unfortunately last week he was driving along the a20, when his engine let go on him.. there was no fluid loss or steam issues, or plumes of smoke from the exhaust, so it appears all the damage is internal. with the only symptons being a horrible clattering noise... my mate is looking for advice on places or people who can rebuild his engine. he is not looking for extra bhp, just a stronger rebuilt engine.. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Nearer to home there is Barretts Motorsport (Phil Venn) in Canterbury. Don't know if they are still running the motorsport division, but they rebuilt my Classic g box and were reputable engine builders in the early 2000's.
