Lemmy
Hotel booked Scoob goes in for an interim oil change tomorrow and for a few minor faults to be checked. Greg - How is the arm and the car coming on. Are both likely to be fit for IOM? Alan Link to comment
scooby g
The car is still at the scoobyclinic. I told them there was no hurry, but it will be ok for the IOM. What i am not so sure about is whether i will be fit to drive I have got limited movement in my wrist, and my thumb and forefinger are not right either. Going back to the hospital on tuesday for physio. At the moment i cannot grip properly or lift anything without pain. On a brighter note, have you got a p1 now Alan Link to comment
Lemmy
<< On a brighter note, have you got a p1 now Alan >> I think you have got me confused with someone else. Why would I want a P1 when I still have an 02STi which is better in every way: looks, performance, handling, brakes, build quality Alan Link to comment
blue boy
Have you booked the Adelphi Lemmy? Link to comment

Lemmy
<< Have you booked the Adelphi Lemmy? >> Yes, for ~£49 B&B + £10 for secure car parking, which I reckon is an exellent price for such a hotel (normally double rooms are ~£100). Thanks for the advice on the Adelphi. I had found a couple of others at similar prices, Capanile and Dolby, but they didn't offer secure parking. Alan Link to comment

AndyC_722
A new JDM MY05 STI in black Have you read this month's Evo article? It's a monster... twin scroll turbo, DCCD-A, Spec C geometry, yaw sensor, helical front diff, new interior, climate control... Not that I'm excited or anything!!! It should go on the boat on Friday and I should pick it up with a '54' plate on Sept 1st. Link to comment
scooby g
Sorry lad's and lass'es, but we have had a hard decision to make We are still scoobless at the moment, and my wrist is far from right (its left). It still has very limited movement and there is nerve damage to my thumb and forefinger resulting in a sence of pain/burning replacing the sence of touch I am also going to have to look for a second car now as well, as i will not want to use my scooby for daily transport in future. So we are going to pull out of this years event I know we could still go as foot passengers, but i dont think that we would get the most out of the holiday in my present condition. I left this decision as long as i could, to see how my wrist would respond. When we are back to normal, we will try and get over to scooby island. I have pm and e-mailed Richard with our decision. Once again, sorry about this. Best laid plans and all that Greg and Alison Link to comment

blue boy
Greg, Sorry to hear of your decision and the fact that you haven't recovered sufficiently YET to make the trip. I'm sure you will make a full recovery mate, just make sure you keep a positive mental attitude, its what helped me get thro' my darkest days. Bob Link to comment
