What fuel do you use?

after only owner my scooby for less than a week I'm a bit confused about the fuel. When I bought it the bloke said to only run it on high octane fuels but I have bumped into a couple of other scooby drivers and they say they have run theirs for years on normal fuel and it doesn't make any difference!!

Any input please???

only shell V-power for me, you notice the difference after 2 tanks

V Power for me also.. Nothing else available other than Tesco 99 and mine will not run on anything under 98 RON.

Since engine rebuild I've used nothing but V Power

My WRX Hawkeye only needs 95 RON unleaded, but for best results I use V Power, however STIs I think need 97 RON. On Newage it is written on inside of fuel filler flap! If in doubt V Power esp if an STI and if modded.

Yup I've been drinking the Vpower stuff since it came out, Optimax too as it was then, however I use it inmy car too

Have to go with the majority and will only use V-power to the point where i check where all the local shells are!!

V-Power gets my vote too, use it in both our classic & newage.

V power or Tescos 99 for me, also gives me an extra 50odd miles to the tank over 97 Octane blends & about 80Miles over 95 octane.
