Was early on when there was a spillage on the outside. I was following behind and lifted off to wait and see how it was going to end. Fortunately you managed to correct it buit there was a moment when i thought it could go eiterh way - literally! LOLLL! its no problem just to upload that part mate - though looking at the video it seems far more composed than it felt at the time - see what you think as you were there

Must have been warming down What are you running engine/turbo/'box wise? its a WRX-RA, standard block, hyperflow tmic, vf29 at 1.5 bar, 440cc, fuel/air flow tweeks, 6 speed, 4.3kg flywheel, light pulleys, whiteline all round, standard sti suspension, parada's and ap 6 pots with road pads. reckoned to be about 330/330 and yours mate? I thought you must have lifted off quite a lot to let me pass.
lewisscoob Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Its a standard sti ra limited Its currently running a ported headers and up-pipe with a ported VF28 at ~1.1 Bar, complete decat apart from P1 BB and K+N filter - everything else in the engine bay is std. Supposed to be running 312bhp and ive no reason to doubt that. From the clutch to the hubs including the suspension isnt mine but soon will be. When fully mine, it will have P1 running gear. AP 4-pots up front and newage wrx 2pots on the rear with Ian Goney discs an pads alround. How are you finding the 6-speed? Thats the way i will be going when I can afford an upgrade. Will also have an SC38, Hybrid GT2 FMIC and nismo 550's soon

I totally love my 6 speed, get everything lightened up and changing gear becomes a pleasure, blips with the heel so easily. remember that if you change to a 6 speed then all the rear hubs get changed too, which includes the newage 2 pots on the rear obviously. Although I do fancy trying 450 odd bhp on a top mount, I don't think i'm going to bother upgrading my turbo and injectors, only if something breaks - just cos it all seems to work so nicely at the moment. I'm trying to work out how to get slicks on, maybe a swirl pot, but thats all for me. Cheers, Chris.

I was going to go AFP5-16 but changed my mind upon reading the billet thread... Yeah, I know about the hubs and 2-pots but these were of a price I was not going to say no to Be careful before going for slicks if you dont already have a baffled sump and swirl pot. Fuel starve is bad enough but oil starvation doesnt bare thinking about. I should be alright for a while as the toyos wont provide enough grip! When you say lighten everything up, you mean the flywheel i guess, what else? totally hear that about the baffled sump mate yeah. shouldn't you have remapped after decatting? yeah flywheel and underdrive pulleys are an excellent start. you can do more, but diminishing returns apply. driveshaft!? anything that spins i suppose. lol. doing any of this though will be rubbish for launches, but great for a track. My Specialist Subaru advisor said it would be fine so long as I run V-Power. I was gonna ask about the cam and how did you fit it? Is it mounted near the plate?

I was running 215 wide R888's and some wacky camber The car was alot more lively/flickable back then. Think it has to much grip (in bone dry) to get away with those antics now full vid here - oh, and a rear cam only vid of the last 10mins of the event on Sat. Good for seeing my 'interesting lines', esp 5:12 at duffis hehe
