CustomScoobyIOM Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 PMSL!! 17" Superleggeras cleared them. Nah going for 18" P1 Anthracite wheels now.
Tearz Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Just read the Track action banner for this weekend.. "Power Action mobile rolling road" Tests 2 wheel drive cars and motorbikes up to 450bhp D'oh! no 4WD?
CustomScoobyIOM Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Nope unless we all lift the front of the car Shame, would of wound up the boost over 450bhp just for a laugh if I had the yellow one!! See the computer shat itself
WRX IOM Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Me and a few mates should be up there at the weekend checking it out. Have my new wheels fitted now. Very nice too!!
Tearz Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Looks like there'll be as many up there as are gonna be convoying
dooahhdoo Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Erm, I may need to cadge a lift Saturday from someone if the boss needs the A Class. Just found out where all my oil is going. Front crank oil seal is fooked and it is filling up my cam belt cover. Slippy oil on a cambelt is not good Anyone got any luck they can kindly donate to me please?
Dave K Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 You going up in morning or afternoon mate? Bummer that wont be cheap if cam belt is contaminated. And as for luck mine is about to run out I think with those plates on. Though you didn?t help yelling dude your plates are illegal in the middle of Athol Street. PMSL
dooahhdoo Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 But they are highly Illegal and I have phoned crimebusters to report you as I am a decent law abiding citizen Honestly m8, I was staring at them and wondering "WTF!!" They look good but you are going to have your collar felt. Ever thought about sticky backed velcro and only putting them on for special occassions?
dooahhdoo Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Oh sorry, was going to go in the afternoon and bring the littlun with me. I should be able to get there as I can borrow my Mums Corsa if Tracy is taking the car, otherwise I would be stuck there if Ste started grinning. Aye it is going to be expensive. About 6 hours to replace the oil seal, then new cambelt. Looking at 100+ quid for parts alone. Not what you need after a rebuild
Dave K Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 PMSL. Had no probs with the last lot only diff is the red R. Not sure on the font he used though looks a bit naff. What the hell see how it goes. Not good mate, was it leaking before the rebuild?
dooahhdoo Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Nope! Steveeee picked it up for me in Reading and took it home. Checked the oil before he left for Nottingham and it took 2.5 litres but there was none on the road and the mechanic swore he put 5 litres in it. I picked it up with a pool of oil underneath it
-Steve- Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Guess i'll see you all at the grandstand at 1 then dooahhdoo i'll prob have space in my car if you still need a lift m8
CustomScoobyIOM Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Nick ill take you over in the Green UK Turbo mate
dooahhdoo Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Cheers guys. I will see what the boss is doing. If I cant steal her car I will take one of you up on the offer

Boxer23 Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Very nice selection of track cars over. The red S14 200SX looks fun. PS: Nice to meet you Joel last night. Enjoy the UK Turbo, mate. If it has the CustomScooby touch it'll be a very nice car indeed.

enCrypt Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Yep, not a bad day at all! Great 'convoy' over the mountain, and after Jon had taken a detour somewhere, me and Tearz ended up being the lead car, which was a bit daunting but I think I coped reasonably well! Where was the copper Richard? Ive also got some pics taken with my incredibly arse camera just before the batteries ran out...DOH! Cant seen to attach anything on this thread so will have to wait till Fotopic authorise them... Will get em posted up later hopefully... Mark...
