Cold and sunny today so perfect conditions.

I mananged to get into the 12's, Mandy says one of my terminals was 108 so can't wait to see my times. I think Chris had a problem with the car, I know AndyF did 2 runs in it but don't know times.

I'm sure Chris will be along to update us.

Yeah, hope Chris' car aint too bad. He did drive homewards, sensible mode on. Not as nuts a style as the drive up I may add!!! Hopefully he'll be along shortly to add details.

Chris - did you drive all the way home, cant believe something else went wrong again, next time im down and your there im coming for a run in the car the first sprint you do down the strip- cant risk something breaking 3 times before I get a go in it. Well done to your mate in the Skyline too, thats a serious bit of kit, and your other pal with the lotus - thats a spanking looking car

That pickup thing was getting a bit boring. The guy kept doing runs on his own, it was just too fake sounding with the auto box etc. His times were always very similar everytime too. I think that would bore me after the first run. Everybody to their own though.

Yea that's true Ryan I agree with you, thong could fairly shift for a pick up though!

It would be pretty hard for him to improve his tines, as all he has to do is stomp on the accelerator and then hope it's a good start!

Hi lads thanks very much for the support, today Jason you will be first for a run deffo lol had a few runs taking it easy not sure of my times low 11 i think was interested i'n times unless it had a 10 i'n it selfish i know lol.

Andy F came a run with me down the strip launch. gear changes were not to bad, the tyres were lighting up 1st 2nd he turned the boost down to try and get traction still the car was still spinning i put the tyre pressure down more ,Need proper slick for grip loosing to much time on my launch

Andy had a wee shot and broke my car lol you bad man he is an animal ha ha hence the reason i never got my 10 that's my excuse this year and I'm sticking to it...;-)on a good note cheers Andy for taking your Sunday afternoon to try and help me out the car has got a 10 somewhere change of tyres required for next year..

Also a massive thanks to MikeyB for running me about all day appreciated, also well done to Matt i'n his GTR 35 car was awesome today i think he got a 10.7 ? Thing was **** of a stick at the line..

Car now back at garage possible timming issue belt may of jumped not too sure yet the joys of modding i guess... You win some you loose some will be back to fight another day tho my motto is if i don't break anything i ain't trying hard enough ;-)

Not a wasted journey at all. Least I know how to get there noo. Next time you're heading up hunting for a 10 second run, I'll be there. Enjoyed it. Fingers crossed everything gets sorted simply enough. I bags a seat beside you one time too....

Chris did you not tell Andy you break it you buy it. Hope everything is ok with the car.

Matt's GTR was very impressive especially against the bike, other quick car was that Black MR2, kept him for half the strip and then it just went like stink.

Kids had a ball as usual they prefer Crail to Kames because you go fast, speed junkies or what.

Sorry I never got a chance to chat, was to busy having fun and trying to work out my best launch.

Ha ha. Well put. The guy in the Corsa with the front exit exhaust was a bit nipppy too, his front mount was definatly a front mount! That core looked cable tied on to the front bumper and plumbed in!

u will just have to borrow a set of his drag tyres and trailer the car up and give it the beans to get the times needed!!!!

Matt ended up getting 10.79 in the GT-R, fastest GT-R running stock turbos in the UK i believe. Having driven it, it is rather rapido!!

I needed waking up myself as it was getting boring by the end of the day. The only thing that kept me entertained was the wide variety of excuses. Don't get me wrong they seem like very nice everyday cars, might get one for the Mrs next year.

The reason I added the hopefully is the same reason my car hasn't turned a wheel or had the bonnet lifted in 6 months, family issues. I'll not go into it but unfortunately I've had a lot on my plate recently and the car comes a long way down the pecking order.

Hopefully I'll give it a wash (doubt it), fire it up and be back to kick butt along with Chris next year.

Times now up for Crail my best 12.57 and terminal of 108.2.

Not bad for a lightly modded Type R.

Think I over did it a bit 29 runs in 4 hours.
