dumb question here have you tried searching the phone book for him in spain , both names?

Go to http://www.PaginasBlancas.es

- Spain's "White Pages" online. There, you'll need at least their first name and last name And, the bad part is, you have to search by Province - one by one. You can't search all of Spain at once.

The above website is, probably obviously, the telephone white pages in Spain and all names found therein are those whose name is on the telephone statement - usually the "head of household" which, in Spain, is nearly always the man.

so youd have to search each provinece with ron williams , then if nothing came up try mike struberg,...

might not find anything at all , but if the guys been there a month or so , and maybe he has a land line, might be worth a shot ,

or i could just be making a numpty of myself for sudjesting this ....

but feel gutted for you like so much money gone especialy when theres a recesion on aswel doesnt help and now ur missing the money and a part for your car aswel ...

other thing you could try is www.infobel.com

Or speak to somebody that may know somebody whoi in turn might know a spanish plod who might accidently leave the details in a notebook open while he goes to the toilet or something. well worth 100 euro's if that was what was left for the plod's lunch.

Maybe the police can request the IP address the guy is posting from on YouTube? Or any site he posted on recently may link him to a specific IP range and ISP/region of Spain?

Good day, I am hoping you can help

I am sure that you are the correct person I have been looking for, your Maiden name was ......... and have two kids by the names of ...... and ...... (asked a former employee of your husbands to confirm that this ID was you)

I have been trying to track down Mike Sturbberg who also went by the name of Ron Williams of a company called Raw Performance in Il.

I contracted him to build an engine for me and supply some other parts, I received the engine but never received the Cosworth dry sump oiling system that I paid $3000 for. I phoned Cosworth in the States and they confirmed that this order was never paid for.

I am looking for Mike to contact me so we can talk about what went wrong and hopefully get my money back, even in installements, as this has put the brakes on me getting my car back on the road.

I would ask that Mike give me a call on (my mobile number) for a chat.

I do not want to argue, I just want to have an adult conversation to see where things went wrong.

Best reguards

And got this reply

You have the right person, but unfortunately I can not help you. We seperated in November and have not spoken since Christmas. The last time we spoke, he was making plans to return to the Ukraine.

Are you aware that he petitioned and was granted bankrupcty for both business and personal matters in August? If you made payment before August of 2010, it would have been dissolved within the bankrupcty.

You should try his personal email, which is boogerwrx@yahoo.com

Unfortunately I did not know he filed for bankrupcty therefor could not put a claim in

IIRC (and I may be wrong) but as I understood it, a claim against a non-discharged bankrupt can be made up until the point of discharge (I think this is about 2yrs these days - particularly for personal insolvency). That said, if you were able to submit a claim, you would be at the back of the queue.

You know you can check if he has definitely gone bankrupt don't you - just swing past any county court (or the Scottish equivalent) and they can point you in the direction of his appointed Official Receiver or an insolvency practitioner.

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/ <--- if he's declared personal bankruptcy he'll be listed in here somewhere otherwise, check companies house.

Hope that helps and good luck! :)

He is in the States unfortunately,

I take what she said with a pinch of salt anyway as she was the one posting up the BS about him being in a near fatal car crash and posting up some pictures of a crashed RHD BMW back in August ontop of clearing out the family home whilst he was abroad, I was still in communication with him till the 13th of August. I recon this is just another smoke screen

Just read through everything there and by the sound and looks of things this was a well organised event and wouldn't be surprised if he was not separated with his wife and she was in on the whole thing too. There will be a way round this Graham but it might mean speaking to a solicitor and getting their view on things (then again they might not take it on as its in the states)

By the time he has run up solicitor fees he will have lost double the amount!

Unfortunately even when you are right it costs you in the long run!
