I think it looks great,and i can see everyones avatar,but what i want to know is,how do you get a big pic of your car for a signature like Barry (Badbaz)has?

As a member, you should be able to add a picture to your signature using the normal signature controls in your account settings. There is a limit of 500px wide by 80px high which doesn't seem to be working at the moment, but I'm sure Andy will fix it soon, so Badbaz's super huge signature may be short lived

Also bear in mind, if your signature image is too big or annoying, the mods can still delete it Many people find signature images annoying and generally quite chavvy, so if we feel the option is being abused to the detriment of the club, then they are likely to be turned off!

I tried a 75x75 pic but it just says "you are allowed '0' url's in your signature"

i guess that means i cant upload of flickr like i do on the forum, as there isnt an option to upload a pic from my pc i havnt got a clue.!

I know what you mean about pics in sigs being a bit chavvy,it would be good to put a car to a name if you know what i mean, but without having to click on someones profile or gallery.

Then again as you say this is open to abuse and before long theres silly pics with flashing lights and banners.........no need!

It's hardly alot of work to click on someones gallery with this new set up, just look under the persons user name and the gallery icon is clearly visible and ready to be clicked, much better than the old set up TBH.

Yeh,i spotted that Dunc,but i just havnt got the time to do that,i'm always washing my car.....whereas you on the other hand....

Excuse me my car was washed six weeks ago so don't give me the "I never wash my car thing"

Anyway, I fully intend on giving it a full wash/clean/polish/wax this week some time, hell knows I might do the inside as well

Did you just post the link to the picture or did you use img tags like you would normally insert pictures?

I've had a wee look at Baz's signature code and he's linking to photobucket with img tags and it seems to work ok!

If that doesn't work then raise a question to Andy in the new forum questions section in my post above!

Initially I had uploaded the pic in my sig from my PC, the size was/should have been determined during that phase. If it's linked to photobucket then it's because a certain mod was pissing about with the sig
