Where's My Jack Handle?

Where in a newage Impreza would you normally find the detachable jack handle?

It's not to be found near the jack or in the little bag that contains the towing bar, lock nut, etc.

I'm thinking it might be missing, but wondering if it might be secreted elsewhere in the car?

Possibly on the underside of the cover over the spare wheel.

Thought for over 2 years that mine had been lost - even after having had the spare out a few times and it was only when I took the board completely out of the boot that I realised! Soooo much easier to change wheels about now!

yup mines is under the hardboard boot cover.

Ahhhhhh, I had to use an adjustable spanner cos I couldn`t find mine. I`ll have to search.

I thought mine was missing too on my Hawk, but it was jammed right down the bottom below the jack in that cavity behind the rear wheel arch.. (only discovered it after I'd had the spare out and looked all round etc.)

Certainly worth another look in there!

Yes, it was under the wooden boot cover right enough!

I did check the manual the last time I was looking for it and don't remember anything about it being stowed under there...

Anyway, problem solved - thanks very much folks!
