frodge Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1851530.htm bloody awfull , for me anyway , even my 5 year old think its 'rediculous' n i didnt know he knew what that word meant. i did wonder why the bonnet didnt fit well though , has something been shoehorned in?
neill54 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 It's been wrapped seen it the other day just along the road in Calder motor co and I think it's got one of those bonnet lifter kits possibly!? Neil
tomwrx08 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 yes it has been wrapped but its shocking, why would anyone want it to look that bad
StewartyBoy Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 (edited) The lad that had it done came from Neilston, he now has a Fozzy with a huge amount of Horsepower. A real wolf in sheeps clothing. I'm going to stick my neck out and say I like it! May not be everyones cup of tea but that car has had a lot of money spent and is a real credit to the previous owner. In all fairness, he isn't the first to do it... http://www.autoblog.com/2006/12/14/gumball...civilian-hands/ http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http...tx=41&ty=38 Edited August 8, 2010 by StewartyBoy
Rab89 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Seem the car at quite a few cruises around this way. Fair play for doing what you want! Not my cup of tea though
subarucraig Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 not my cup of tea but everyones diffrent life would be boring if everyone liked the same unless it was classic imprezas lol
liquidvisionsti Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 As mentioned it might not be everyone's cup of tea but he's doing something different and as long as he is happy with it thats what counts
st3ph3n Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 There was 3 cars that did the gumball in similar spec - the one that was black and grey cammo was much nicer. Different though, and why the hell not.
neill54 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 dont get me wrong i like it for being different and im looking at wraps myself lot cheaper than paint but the guy couldnt have been that happy with it if its sitting on a garage forecourt!! neil

StewartyBoy Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Micheal Fox mate, his brother was in my year at school
marko72 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Stewarty, is this defo the one from Neilston? Ive met the one from Neilston down in Inverkip and up at Hypertech where he said he was thinking of selling. Nice fella. But it had the standard grey wrx wheels, not the orange ones here. Was low as fook though , and yes I like it too! A lot better than say, the snake effort or indeed my personal fave ( not ) the Tiesto Impreza!!
mic Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Micheal Fox mate, his brother was in my year at school He used to come into our pub in Paisley all the time
jonboywrx Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 ive clicked the link and all i see is a blue blob with orangey/gold wheels..... whats so bad?
stum450n Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 ive clicked the link and all i see is a blue blob with orangey/gold wheels..... whats so bad? Original Gumball Car One on Pistonheads had these graphics! The other two Gumball cars
marko72 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 ive clicked the link and all i see is a blue blob with orangey/gold wheels..... whats so bad? Looks like it has been de-wrapped.
StewartyBoy Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Thats a real shame, a lot of money and effort went into that!
thefastone Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) Ah I was just looking at the link, and I was also wondering what on earth was so bad about it..., but then if they have de-wrapped that then I'm pretty dissapointed... Its different, and with those graphics, it had a bit of history to go with it, even though its not the original car, no one complains about when people put on the SWRT graphics...... Just because it's not to everyone's taste, doesn't mean that its bad... I kinda like that, Although I prefer the grey one! Edited August 11, 2010 by thefastone
marko72 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Im liking the black camo one, never seen that before. Just not sure about the pink though, but Im sure if all 3 came burbling by it would all look excellent.
