Leroy Boyce Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 Hello all, When our nipper was born we needed a new family car. My wife fell in love with a green Impreza 2.0 GLX 2001/X. We are very pleased with the car, but it is proving a bit on the pricey side. We currently need a new Oxygen sensor for the exhaust, and Subaru quoted over £200 to replace it... I was hoping someone could help us? Can you recommend any local Subaru specialists (we live in Oxford) who might be less expensive than the main dealer? Also, are there any online discount Subaru parts distributers? Any help and advice will be much appreciated. Cheers people, Link to comment

Cheers people, Hey there, Welcome to SIDC and to Oxfords finest BigD is the guy if you need any advice on technical stuff. Unfortuntaly I cant really help with the sensor issue cos I have very little clue about cars apart from how to drive one. I have used Import Car Parts and Scoobyworld in the past. As well as Cotswold Subaru, who have been helpful and trust worthy in the past ( tho yes are a main dealer) You could try a car breakers there are a few around, tho more likly to find information on them further in the SIDC forums. I get most of my parts from importcarparts and Cotswolds (who are second to none when it comes to customer service). Cotswolds also give a discount to paid SIDC members!
