  1. Hi I don't post much but I currently own V1sti which is now been converted to a national b rally car for my wife Red wrx White wrx with pink bits Hope to meet up with you all and hopefully attend some track time
  2. hi, i maybe a bit late but this kid will build to spec and is spot on. 07917204738 he build impreza rally car and is based in fleetwood
  3. if it was your turbo seals it will blow blue smoke out of the exhaust. sounds like the rear two half moon on the back of the rocker cover need re sealing.

  7. hi, i have full obd2 software for new impreza ect and i have never seen that option listed but i have never looked as increasing idle spped puts more ware on the convertor and can make them jumpy at take off
  8. air valve or clean your throtle body and check pipe work m8
  9. i have a hearing amp for rattles which help alot but get a mate to drive and sit in pass side and put your hand on everything until it reduces then you will find it, jus takes time
  10. it is a little valve which controls your idle below 1200 rpm and sets the amount of air needed to start and control your idle i.e if your car is warm it will be 75% ish out but if it cold it will wind in upto 75% ish. This is controled by the ecu off your water, air sensors,map and maf sensors. if it is sticking it will not be able to adjust right so consently trying to compensate so giving you a un even idle and poor start from cold but clears when the rev are taken above 1200rpm hope this helps a bit o cranks sensor just break down sometimes you can tapp them and it works for a bit then breaks again as it a magnet and wire wrapped around it.
  11. hi, poor start then rough running doesn't sound like crank to me, like sticking stepper.get it pluged in
  12. check your vac piping and get the ecu read sounds like maf sensor
  13. it takes about 30mins to fit
  14. hi, go to a car park, put car on ful and drive forward/backwards on both locks. If the sound changes note or becomes worse then poss diff u/s and buy a temp surface temp tester and take car for a run.test the surface were the bearing fits if it is a bearing then one will be warm and the or would be cooking
  15. scooby drivers do have a very bad rep which reflects on us all and boost are insurance.
