About agkq62

  1. Seeing as the dealer could alter the idle speed I didn't think it would be necessary to alter the ROM data, particularly as "adjust idle speed" is showing in EcuExplorer. I still can't get any info showing on the Tactrix website. Would a lead like this work? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT Thanks
  2. It has a fly-by-wire throttle if that helps. There is nothng wrong with the idle at the moment but I just want to try increasing it slightly to help manvoureablity. I have had it done it the past at the dealers but it cost £30. The Tactrix link from the"Connecting to Your ECU" page just seems to be a blank page, but I was hoping something might be available in the UK. Has anyone tried the idle speed adjustment in EcuExplorer? Thanks.
  3. Should I have posted this in Strictly Technical?
  4. I only want to increase to 700/750. I'm sure that won't be a problem.
  5. Hello everyboby, I have been recommended here by the Subaru Forester Owners Forum so I hope you won't object to me posting. I have a 2005/6 Forester 2.5 XTE auto with the standard ECU and just want to increase the idle speed so the auto has more creep. Reading through the Knowledge pages it seem ecuExplorer has this option in the Tools list. Am I right in this? Is this something a rank amateur could do without causing any damage? If so where is the best place to buy a usb lead in the Uk. Many thanks in advance.
