Phone still working using it to do this so should try house insurance ? Buy iPhone insurance and wait a month before I claim or try a wee idependant place to fix it for me Cheers neil

Wee Jock Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Take your phone to your nearest Apple shop and they will replace it free of charge providing its still under manufacturers warranty! If its out of warranty they charge £140 to replace it like for like!

monty28 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 i smashed my screen after about a month and went to apple and they were going to charge me £140 for fixing it as the warranty doesnt cover accidental damage, i bought a screen off ebay for about £20 and done it in about 30 mins myself found a video on youtuibe to do it

(London branch Regent Street) Hmmm mibeees its one rule for the English and another for us Jocks, discrimination...............I feel a claim coming on! Lets see how Neil got on today!

Just shows you how things change from one place to the next.
