Smashed Another Iphone

Hi just managed to drop my new iPhone and smash it hardly fell any distance no insurance again I'm a bumbass

what to do ? Phone still working using it to do this so should try house insurance ? Buy iPhone insurance and wait a month before I claim or try a wee idependant place to fix it for me

if its a contract get the providers insurance then claim in a couple of weeks well thats what i would do

yeah mikey i think i should lived with my last iphone smashed for months got this one 3 weeks ago and its the same hopefully getting it sorted asap

Take your phone to your nearest Apple shop and they will replace it free of charge providing its still under manufacturers warranty!

If its out of warranty they charge £140 to replace it like for like!

Yup, been there and done it, phone was out of warranty replaced for £140. Told me if it was still under manufacturers warranty they would have replaced it free of charge.

i smashed my screen after about a month and went to apple and they were going to charge me £140 for fixing it as the warranty doesnt cover accidental damage, i bought a screen off ebay for about £20 and done it in about 30 mins myself found a video on youtuibe to do it

I wonder if it depends on the salesman, what apple shop you go too and what mood they are in as they could not have been more helpfull when I went. (London branch Regent Street)

Hmmm mibeees its one rule for the English and another for us Jocks, discrimination...............I feel a claim coming on!

i went to the one in aberdeen and they just said because it was my fault they would charge me to fix it went round a few phone repair shops and they were wanting £60 upwards to do it

Down London they offered a straight swap for a brand new phone £140!

Just shows you how things change from one place to the next.

Got the insurance for 8 a month so it's a bit less plus if i do it again it's still covered I've smashed two iPhones and an iPod to date!!
