thewelsho Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Just wondering... is it possible to fit any CO/Shocker from a set to any corner? Or, does each corner have a specific Co/Shocker?
StrikE Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Are the front & rear shockers not different? Someone with a brain will be along shortly m8
dipsy Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 (edited) The 114.3 pcd sti's have different hole postions for the lower part of the shock going on to the hub on the front . Edited March 2, 2010 by Dipsy
sti pretender Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 (edited) The BC's are labelled for each corner and fronts are shorter than rears. Edited March 2, 2010 by STI Pretender
Rheid Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 The BC's are labelled for each corner and fronts are shorter than rears. Usually corner specific due to brackets for brakelines etc plus different lengths front and rear of course.
notsosmall Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Corner specific due to the brackets for the brake lines and as already said front and rear different
StrikE Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Meant to add, it's not a daft question John, everyone is daft until they learn the answers to questions. Every day is a school day m8
dipsy Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 (edited) Say somone others a rear right shock for going on the left and the only difference is the fitting for the brake pipe or doing the same for the front.Would you fit it with a bit of hose round the brake pipe to protect the pipe then cable tied to shock to get you by and save money .This is a random question Edited March 2, 2010 by Dipsy
