the squiggle
Depends on offence i think. If it was lifted for parking offence then V5 and release fee or if other traffic offence that required the car to be seized i believe it is the full monty, MOT V5 License and release fee This is based on about 5 yrs ago when they lifted my brothers company car for shoddy parking in Union St and had to get it back from the Avenue St compound at Parkhead. Brother had hassle as getting the V5 for a Citreon demonstrator that is registered down south was not straight forward Link to comment

She managed to get it lifted for dodgy parking lastnight, ditched it when she got bladdered and thought it would be ok. Came back today...gone! I'll let her know she'll need the V5. Link to comment

Was it done through the council or polis??? most of time you need v5 and photo id but if it through polis then you need mot proof of insurance aswell and it will cost more than £180 there will be specialist charges and storage charge on it too but only if car was lifted by polis Edited March 9, 2010 by james666 Link to comment
