Getting there folks, just need to get my boom boom exhaust sorted, dump valve as load as gbsti's and a wee breather kits & andy f to work his magic.

A small detail with some premium Carnuba wax for some shine

Maybe a different splitter as the new hatch type splitter is lacking in scoop design of past marks [rb320] that i liked.

Going to get a twin tail exhaust not a quad tip coloured like this

Probably been asked before but how do you find it compared to the RB?

Compared to the RB the Hatch is a more 'modern' car or updated dare i say, still plasticy inside but all scoobies are. If i had a straight choice i would have the Hatch every time, not something i would have commented when they first appeared on the market but hey we all make mistakes

Love the car, so much potential and vastly more practical for a family orientated use.

Slightly soft suspension and the most pathetic standard exhaust you will ever get on a car but that can be changed & frequently is on most scoobies as a matter of course.

3 '' wider & 1'' shorter is all good

Nice subtle changes.

Can I ask, the tints, with Strike on them, is the Strike on the inside or outside, just woondering if it would affect the tint if you were to take the Strike off ??

Car is looking great Del and defo growing on me a lot!

I'm sure with induction/exhaust and remap it'll be much more Scoob than Prius. Finally!

Keep it up bud!

Have to admit that the hatches are kinda growing on me, but only the STi mind. Saw StrikE's pass me in EK as I ate lunch a few days after purchase and kinda liked it then, but looks great now. Well done.

I was in Dundee at the end of January and HEARD, then saw a mighty burbly (blue) hatch Tescos car park. I thought the hatches were quiet in the main, until I heard this one. Anyone one here? What were the mods?

Are you considering headers at all Derek?

Barry in all honesty i would need to sit down with someone that knows a bit about the cars, i know a little unfortunately not enough. Sitting listening & trying to understand half the conversions you folks chat about hurt ma heed :rotfl:

I could be wrong but i think the cars still have un-equal headers and changing to equal length headers gives a bit more power & depending on turbo faster spool up?

Don't know, everyone is stupid until they learn the answers to questions. Knowledge required.

Thread hijacking here... it's NOT an STI... it's a Rex... see it regularly at Tesco... not sure if it's staff owned or what, but it has a 3" system w single exit (as all GH Rex's do stock... the single exit, that is... not the 3" effort *lol*)

Never heard it fired up, but imagine it'd be... LOUD.

Back ON-topic, the car's lookin good Del. Tints and grilles are inspiring... just one question... did the rot start when you had a seat in mine at Chester? I recall several peopleat the time saying that THAT moment was the beginning of the end for the RB!

I assume we've established you WON'T now be upgrading to the Cosworth when it arrives (as discussed ad nauseam elsewhere!)... but WILL you be including any Cosworth goodies in yer spec?

(and NO, battery clamps DON'T count!) *chuckle*
