My brother is looking to buy it but I've not been able to have a look because it's up North. Plus to say he knows nothing about Scoobies would be a wild overstatement.

Know nothing about the car, but from the list of mods and whats recently been replaced from experience I reckon it may have hard a hard life.

For the price 3-3.5 should get you a pretty good and half decent mileage UK Turbo as well.

Cheers mate, that's what I thought. Also no mention of mapping, yet it's running with a huge K&N, VTA dump valve, and decat. It also had a lot of play in the steering apparently.

I've told him to stay away, seems to be too many problems and it's overpriced.

Nice one Gav, that's around what I thought. My brother offered him £2100 and the guy knocked it back so more fool him I say. I've persuaded him now to stay well away. Too many nice cars about for low money to go for something with a questionable history.
