scouk Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 How do I set the alarm on the hawkeye and leave the digs in the car without it constantly going off?Your help is appreciated? Not sure about he hawkeye but on the bugs you disable the alarm as normal, open door put key in ignition, turn it to stage 2 (DO NOT try tot start the car) then switch ignition off, remove key, close door and set the alarm.. This sequence disabled the interior sensors IIRC to internal movement does not set off the alarm.. There'a also a button on the alarm keypad you can use to disable the internal sensorts you manualy re-enable them but don't know it off hand.. But of course, remember to leave a window open
scoobyseller555 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 David Turn the pir's upto face the screen(on rotators) and it should be fine,or lock the drivers door using the door lock, this will lock and immobilise but not alarm. Gav

patsy Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 How do I set the alarm on the hawkeye and leave the digs in the car without it constantly going off?Your help is appreciated? Davie When I leave my two dogs in the car I press my fob before switching of the engine and the led next to the clock blinks once. Then when everyone is out I press the fob again to lock the car as usual. The hazards should flash 8 times instead of the normal 4. This means the interior sensors are off, but I think the alarm still goes off if doors are opened and immobiliser is still armed as normal too. This is the procedure on mine, a 2002, not sure if yours will be the same. Worth a bash though...
StrikE Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Easy fix to that problem......... just fire the dogs in the boot

Rossy was nice this afternoon.

corsa Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 don't leave the dog in the car.... simple Not so simple if you are on a ferry for 20 mins and not allowed dogs on the deck!!! Responsible dog owners are well aware of it and i am one of them. thanks for your words of advice though. Davie
hosstheboss Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Man, i'd be terrified to leave my two Rotts in the car, they would probably figure out how to hotwire the feckin thing and be off for a joyride!!
