Chris - I like a nuts car as much as the next guy but you have to draw the line somewhere, especially if it's a road car. Don't get caught up chasing figures and trying to be top dog. There will always be someone with deeper pockets, bigger balls, more screws loose etc and to try and compete may end up with you taking the car that one stage too far.

Find the level thats right for you and stick at it. It's better to have a slower car that you're happy with than a really fast (but high maintenance) one that you're not.

That said if this is what you really want then go for it my son. Just don't go there in baby steps as it'll cost more in the end.

Cheers Colin for the friendly input my friend you right, dont you worry about it tho ;) I am under no illusion there is always some one with bigger balls but im not interested in that im interested in what i want and at the moment i just cant put my finger on it.. you sound like my wife there ;)

Hope yours is coming along..

TBH Chris thats the impression I got from you the last time. If I were you I'd get that sorted before doing any more work on the car. Might save some heartache in the long run. Plus, Steve is grey enough already.

Hope yours is coming along..

Gearbox is fixed (but not tested), spoiler is off and I've given it a wash. Oh, and the antilag is fixed too. Was gonna make a few more tweaks to it but have taken some of my own advice and held off on them to see what I'm gonna do with the car.

At the moment it's fast enough, still reliable and perfectly usable on the road. I may just quit while I'm ahead and not take it any further. Actually was talking it over with the mrs the other week and said I fancied running it as is for a few years and then maybe giving it a full respray to get it looking good again and use it as a standard looking show car.

lol I take it with the "skinny hip's" comment you have tried sitting in them, I can assure you I "just" make it in myself, another ounce of saturated fat and I would be foooked!:whistle:

Aye grey it is and reclining, all credit to Chris. Cheers.

I've spent today on a crash course on tucking an 11lb bomb into the back of Chris's motor, and then running fuse wire straight to ignition key ;) I'm sure Chris is far better quaified than I.

Get those 8 pots on the scale.

Hi Colin. Those calipers were just there to confuse Frank. I'm wondering how your motor drives without dump valve fitted? Considering it on Chris's car, I'll be mocking up custom pipes shortly for Barry to weld and would be good time to delete.

has frank won the lottery and forgot to mention it to us ;)

why is there two turbos? or are they both going to be used ??

Barry - I heard that those turbos are just samples and the actual build will have one per cylinder. ;)

btw is your car run in yet? Let me know when you need a hand completing the Apexi installation.

Cheers

Alistair
