  1. Thanks for the feedback Kenny - always a pleasure to be working on another modded bugeye! Cheers Alistair
  2. Hi Alastair thanks for the feedback and great to hear you are happy with the car. All the best Alistair
  3. Glad to see she passed emissions in the end Ciarain
  4. Hi Kenny the 321T on a forged 2.5 is a formidable combination but will kill you 5 speeder pretty quickly from the torque (been there done that with a 20g on a 2.5). I'd recommend a 6 speed conversion if you are aiming for anything over 400lbft of torque. Cheers Alistair
  5. Hi Steve, Thanks for the feedback and it's a pleasure to work with another wagoneer! Cheers Alistair
  6. Hi Kenny - both have the notoriously fragile EJ257 OEM pistons. Rods seem to be ok to 450 and casing up to the 450 - 500 mark. After that the risk of liners cracking/moving increases without the block being strengthened with inserts around the liners. I'd suggest a 257 short motor with forged pistons for your application for peace of mind. Suggest speaking with Steve at SW Motorport who usually has a set of 257 casing and rods/crank etc kicking about looking for a good home. I'd also suggest getting the chambers in your 2L heads modified to suit the larger 99.5mm bore (generally allows you to run more timing). Steve can do this too and does a first class job. Cheers Alistair
  7. Hi Neil in terms of stand alone ECUs, it's mainly Syvecs/Solaris and Apexi Power FC I work with at the moment. Cheers Alistair
  8. Thanks for the feedback Alan. Ballistic - FFS and LC are available for the 06-08 Sti but switchable boost is not currently via the software I use. Cheers Alistair
  9. Hi Thanks for the feedback John. Spaceman/Grant - Launch Control and Flat Foot Shifting are available on the UK hawkeye STi with the software platform I use but switchable boost is not currently. Cheers Alistair
  10. If it is a straight swap with same model of OEM solenoid then there is no need for a remap. Cheers Alistair
  11. I have a spare one - just south of Edinburgh. Cheers Alistair
  12. Looks like you've been busy Martin! Looking forward to working with another Wagoneer!
  13. It is also possible to permanently disable the corresponding diagnostic trouble code on the ECU when you get the car mapped Cheers Alistair
  14. Kenny - I have a spare one which I don't need and works perfectly if you don't mind buying one second hand? Cheers Alistair
  15. Thanks Alan - that is the most immaculate UK300 I have ever seen!
  16. Woof Woof Pete. Looking good today. Awesome project my friend. Can't wait to see that thing on full song. Cheers Alistair
  17. Agreed - Steve is a first class operator Alistair
  18. Thanks for the feedback Barry and for your good driving during the session! Cheers Alistair
  19. I would definately recommend remapping the car if an aftermarket induction kit has been fitted as this can often skew the maf cailbration causing the car to run lean. I have seen a number of newage cars which have large negative fuel trims stored on the ECU as a result of this. Cheers Alistair
  20. Agreed - big respect to the man for putting something so outrageous together!
  21. Just looked at the line up for Saturday's trackday at knockhill. A 650 bhp Fiesta with an EVO transplant will be joining us. Should be interesting
  22. The car has an ITG panel filter, walbro and decat exhaust and yes mapped using open source. Mike - thanks for the feedback and great to hear you are happy with the car. Cheers Alistair
