Where To Get A Baffled Sump?

Alright folks,

project is now off the ground and I was wondering where is the best place to get a baffled 2L sump.

Looking about £480 with a £60 refund for an exchange OE Sump.

Might find a Twin-Scroll Sump (on My06- 2.5's as well) that baffled a little difficult.................. PM John Felstead as he might be able to do one for you?

Lateral do both Twin scroll and Single scroll sumps Graeme. I would also recomend the Cossie baffle plate. I had both of these fitted at Snetterton and never saw any issues going round Coram. If there is a bend in the UK that's gonna cause an issue it's that one !!

Totaly forgot about Mark,

will givehim a buzz once I get some cash back in my bank accounts.

On a different note which oil pump do you guys think will be best, the Roger Clark one or the cosworth one as I will be running with oil squirters ( fnar fnar I just typed squirters)

ten out of ten for getting baffles and squirters into one thread Graeme

G - standard ones are 10mm but as you want to run AVCS - it might be prudent to go bigger due to increased Flow to this area.. Mark's looking at doing 11mm and 12mm AFAIK.

Email him and get his perspective on it.

I think Zen have developed a dry sump kit that might be worth considering, not sure if it's production ready yet though.

1.fit a cosworth baffle plate to your existing sump to help a bit

2. buy a lateral baffled sump to help a lot

3. fit a cosworth baffle plate to a lateral baffled sump to help even more?

and for completeness - (4. dry sump to eliminate issue altogether)
