Subaru Impreza WRX STi Ver5 Type R

If you are looking for an STi without having to worry about the problems of the usual unreliability problems then you can't ignore this ad! This car has a 2.5 Sti bottom end that has only covered around 3000 miles since being fitted and the spec speaks for itself! Proven 373 bhp and 373 lb/ft and with a 2.5 there is no lag, making full boost from 2500 rpm!

Spec:

- 2.5 Sti 10 engine

- P1 heads that were crack tested and matched to cuit the 2.5

- Andy Forest TD06 20g turbo (rebuilt a few months ago and still under warranty)

- Front mount intercooler and hardpipe kit

- Apexi Power Fc and Commander management, mapped by JollyGreenMonster

- Apexi 3 port boost controller

- K&N induction kit

- Fuel pressure regulator

- Lateral Performance 800cc injectors with V pattern modification

- 3 inch exhaust system with down pipe and decat (few months old)

- Ported and matched exhaust headers

- Exedy triple plate clutch with lightened Exedy flywheel (3 months old and cost £1800)

- Recent engine, diff and gearbox oil changes

- 17" P1 prodrive O.Z alloys with tyres all with over 5mm tread left

- DCCD

Please ask any questions, but no test pilots or tyre kickers.

Morning fella,

I e-mailed him yesterday, but he has not got back to me yet, Hopefully he will today and we have a chat about the car.

Cheers

Gary see link below

a properly looked after car and you can even read the diary and see exactly what he has done over the last few years

Had a look at it fella, and even to Carl's admission the bodywork is showing a sign or two or being tracked. It I agree would be a cracking track car - but not sure it's an everyday stead.

Cheers

This one is slightly over budget but has a great spec and you could try to meet him in the middle. The pictures arent the best on the ad as there are no side views of the car.

Hi Paul,

Now that does look the business - with all the right parts by the looks fo things too, just e-mailed him to see what his thoughts were price wise and also to see if he has any other pics of the inside and under the bonnet.

The wife would love one - but it's been 10 months since my last Impreza...........................10 long long long months without that burble in my ear!!! I even stop in the street now when I hear the faint noise of a flat 4.

Just got a reply and he says he will not accept £7k, such a pity as it looks one hell of a beast.

Cheers for the link anyway, any others you find please let me know.

Thats the one I'd have. White is amazing for a classic. My ideal would be an STi Wagon in white. Lovely car mate.

There must be something about white classics and me, the first Scoob I had was one, the rally car was one - and this may just be the hat-trick!!!

Cheers

That white type R looks a lovely car. Even standard and remapped will be a quick car. Wheels, coilovers and Recaro's are a big bonus! Didnt Fee and Adam get there Type R from that place. Perhaps message them to find out if they knock some money off the askng price. I would swap the P1 for that car.
