New Windows 7

Omg i have just set this up on my pc and what an operating system it is very fast and stable.

Took 20 mins to set up and all my software works on it 64bit two.

For once they have something that works.

Awesome eh? It runs so much quicker than Vista on my Quad Core - been running the RC1 since about 2-3 months ago. Been testing it with the Adobe Creative Suite and all the stuff I use for work like Quark etc as well as all my games - everything is running great!

Yeah, I'm on RC1 at home too. It's so much quicker than Vista. It's what Vista should have been and MS know it!

We're running the RTM version in the office on a couple of systems in prep for public release in a month. There's a couple of issues with it, but its looking pretty good. But I'm really very keen to fully explore Windows 7 with regard to it's Virtualisation capabilities!

It's the future!

PS: If I had the time I'd do an uber-review of it. But I don't so JFGI.

I heard shortly after the release of Vista MS realised they'd cocked up and so ploughed all the resources into developing Win7.

As someone better than me said at the time, 'Windows Vista, the best ever advertisment for a Mac'.
