Phil MC Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 This was also my first time up on the drag strip and had a great time, as did my daughter Hannah. We had to run off at the end to give a hand to someone who's car was feeling a bit ill due to all the launches, but can I just thank everyone who was involved in organising this, and Julie (Lostboy's better half) for keeping an eye on Hannah until she felt brave enough to go for some blasts with her old man . I only had my diesel Ibiza with me, but thoroughly enjoyed it, and even came to within 0.038 sec of another member's best time with his WRX .
hi_jac Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Had a good day out, even with busting a driveshaft and only managing 3 runs. Saw a strange looking SIT
P1_Paul Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 ^ I did something similar to my brothers 172 Cup a few years back, when he washed the dirt away it was etched into the paint, oops. Thank god for scratch-x.
